OUR STORY
It all began on a lovely summer’s night in Putney, London back in 2011. For those of you who don’t know Putney, it’s a leafy London borough that’s famous for the annual Oxford versus Cambridge boat race.
Whilst enjoying the sun and a pint, Sheragime spotted Amy locking her bike to a lamppost outside a cocktail bar. He thought he’d comment on how ‘nice’ her bike was and then asked Amy and her friend, Sophie, to join him and his cousin, Mark, for a drink or two.
After some drinks, dancing and fun that evening; many lunches, dinners, bike rides, travels and laughs followed. Over time, they discovered a mutual love of travel, music, design and adventure – and the rest is history!
More than 7 years’ worth of memories later and they’ve bought their little London home and introduced a cute cavalier – Marty – to the family.
A few months ago, on New Year’s Day, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea from Dingli Cliffs, Sheragime did that thing – you know – went down on one knee and popped the question. It completely surprised Amy, who after a few silent and shocked seconds, said yes.
And now – the next chapter, as they celebrate their wedding, together with their family and friends.
